Marktbeirat Arbeitsschwerpunkte 2022/23

Mitte Januar stimmte sich der AFPA Marktbeirat via Online-Konferenz über die Prioritäten des Jahres 2022 ab. Über allem steht weiterhin das Ziel, sich für den Erhalt selbständiger Versicherungsvermittlung und Finanzberatung in Österreich einzusetzen. 
Die EU wird heuer auf folgende Themen besonderes Augenmerk legen:

  • Grüne bzw. nachhaltige  Kapitalanlagen, dazu sindUmsetzungs-Details der Taxonomie-Verordnung zu erarbeiten.
  • Die Vermittlung von Immobilienfinanzierungen wird durch die MCD, Mortgage Credit Directive geregelt.
  • Überarbeitung der Versicherungsvertriebs- und Wertpapierdienstleistungs-Richtlinien.
  • Die Digitalisierung nimmt Fahrt auf: Digitale Finanzdienstleistungen, Cyber-Resilienz stärken, Umsetzung des Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), der Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA), Einhebung von Mehrwertsteuer auf digitale Produkte...

Teilnehmer AFPA Marktbeirat 15.1.2020, Foto AFPAMitte Januar traf sich der AFPA Marktbeirat zu seiner Jahresklausur. Es wurden jene Themen festgelegt, denen wir heuer besonderes Augenmerk widmen, unter anderen:

  • Die Digitalisierung eröffnet Chancen, birgt aber auch Risiken, die wir ernst nehmen.
  • Nachhaltiges Investieren verändert die Kapitalanlagewelt, die Versicherungs- und Finanzberatung.
  • Datenschutz wird zur Überlebensfrage für die Klein- und Mittelbetriebe in der Finanzdienstleistungs- und Versicherungsbranche.
  • Bei IDD Compliance besteht enormer Aufholbedarf für Versicherungsvertreiber und Assekuranzen.

Die AFPA Fachlotsen unterstützen die Mitgliedsbetriebe in diesen und weiteren Bereichen mit Webinaren, Lotsenberichten, Workshops und Vor-Ort-Begleitung. Auch kann mittels quick-checks der Grad der Umsetzung von EU Vorgaben im Betrieb geprüft werden. Akad. Vkfm. Georg Eisenzopf

Insurance broker-networks

Georg Eisenzopf is an academically certified insurance specialist (Akad. Vkfm.) and the managing shareholder of Sicherheit in Versicherungsangelegenheiten (SIVAG) GmbH. SIVAG is a supraregional alliance of insurance brokers and one of the leading broker networks in Austria. Georg Eisenzopf is a lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and an associate professor at the Seeburg University (Germany) where he teaches insurance sales.

 

Mag. Peter Hrubec

Credit brokerage

Peter Hrubec is a corporate agent of Infina Credit Broker GmbH. This company is one of Austria’s most popular independent financing experts. Peter Hrubec has more than 30 years of professional experience in the brokerage of financial services. Following his studies of business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, he served as a manager at Axa and Gerling and subsequently worked as an investment adviser for 17 years. At Infina, he is responsible for product governance, compliance and training of credit brokers.

 

Mag. Thomas Lang

B2B Insure-Tech

Thomas Lang is a lawyer and a member of the founding Board of Management of Selsa Intelligence AG responsible for the internet, new media and e-commerce. The company is an internet pioneer in the financial sector. Since 2001, it has been operating “chegg.net,” Austria’s first online comparison portal in the area of insurance. Their users are insurance vendors. Via personalised portals, they offer their customers the opportunity to compare insurance rates online and close insurance contracts.

 

Dr. Adam Lessing

Investment funds (UCITS), spokesperson for the Advisory Board

As the Head of Central and Eastern Europe, Dr. Adam Lessing has been responsible for business in Austria and Eastern Europe at Fidelity International since 2010. Before that, he worked for the UK asset manager “Aviva”, where he was responsible for European sales, and he also served as the Executive Director of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Adam Lessing studied and earned his degree in law at the universities of Vienna and Berkeley (California). He is the former Vice-President of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA).

 

Dr. Rolf Majcen

Alternative investment funds

Rolf Majcen is an Executive Director of FTC Capital GmbH in Vienna and a member of the Management Board of the Association of Foreign Investment Firms in Austria – Vereinigung Ausländischer Investmentgesellschaften in Österreich (VAIÖ). Before that, he worked as a capital market lawyer at the general directorate of Allianz Elementar Versicherungs-AG and GiroCredit Bank AG as well as the Head of the Legal Department at Erste Sparinvest KAG. Rolf Majcen regularly publishes specialised articles and is the author of a number of publications on investment fund, banking and tax law.

 

Michael Miskarik

Insurance biometry

Michael Miskarik is the head of the Austrian branch of HDI Lebensversicherung AG. He gained his experience in the insurance business as the Head of Sales at Bank Austria Finanzservice, as an Executive Director of Allianz Finanzinvest and as the general representative of the member of the Management Board of the Allianz Group responsible for sales. Michael Miskarik is also the Vice-President of “Meine Vorsorge”, a competence platform promoting privately-funded pension schemes in Austria.

 

Johannes Muschik

Vocational training and education

Johannes Muschik is a managing shareholder of VermittlerAKADEMIE, the market leader in the area of company-specific training and education for the financial services sector in Austria. Before that, he was an insurance and investment adviser for 15 years and also worked in the HR Department of Zürich Versicherungs-AG for several years. Since 2004, Johannes Muschik has been a member of the Management Board of the European Federation of Financial Advisers and Financial Intermediaries (FECIF) based in Brussels, and is the former chairman of this federation. In this office, he regularly takes part in consultations of the EU on legislative initiatives such as MiFID-2, IDD and PRIIPs.

 

Karl Sallaberger

Insurance brokers

Karl Sallaberger is the managing shareholder of Sallaberger & Partner GmbH and has more than 20 years of professional experience in the insurance and financial sectors. He began his career with Zürich Versicherungs-AG after having graduated from secondary school. He founded an independent brokerage firm in 2006. Since then, Sallaberger & Partner GmbH has become the point of contact for competent insurance coverage, financing and special solutions. Of importance in this respect is the firm’s market position based on its high quality of service. Karl Sallaberger is also the founding shareholder of Sallaberger Leasing GmbH, the first independent leasing specialist in Austria.

 

Thomas Schnöll

Insurance agencies

Thomas Schnöll is a member of the Management Board of EFS-AG, an investment firm licensed by the Financial Market Authority and based in Salzburg. The EFS Group also operates one of the largest insurance agencies in Austria. Thomas Schnöll has 25 years of experience in financial sales. His career began in the securities department of Salzburger Landeshypothekenbank. Subsequently, he was responsible for product development at Generali Versicherung und Bank AG and for the further education of employees at the Generali Academy. At the same time, he completed his studies of financial services at the Danube University in Krems.

 

DI Klaus Schönfelder

Tangible assets and precious metals

Klaus Schönfelder is the Executive Director of All Commodity Intertrading GmbH. This company, which was established in 2004, specialises in the sale of valuable precious metals. Following his engineering studies and studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Klaus Schönfelder passed the examinations to become an insurance broker and investment adviser. He held a number of managerial positions, for example that of the Country Manager of an insurance company and Executive Director of an investment firm licensed by the Financial Market Authority. Klaus Schönfelder also works as a consultant for banks, financial service companies and insurance companies.

 

Hermann Stöckl

Investment service companies

Hermann Stöckl is a majority shareholder and Executive Director of VPI Vermögensplanung GmbH and has over 35 years of experience in the area of financial advisory. VPI is an investment service company that has been a holder of the licence issued by the Austrian Financial Market Authority since 1999, specialising in advisory services for high-net-worth private individuals. The pension and asset management services offered by VPI (VPI-Vorsorge und Vermögensmanagement™) also include, in addition to investment advisory, occupational pension plans and financing consultancy.

 

Ing. Michael Veit

Wertpapierfirma-Haftungsdach (Pool)

Michael Veit has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. He is CEO of the investment services provider FinanzAdmin. With 270 affiliated advisors and EUR 1.2 billion in investment volume the liability umbrella is one of the leading investment companies in the country. Before Michael Veit was responsible for the regional support of the investment firm BCA for many years.

 

Stefan Wonisch, BA, CEFA, CIIA

Investment firms (platform)

Stefan Wonisch manages “Die Plattform,” one of the leading B2B fund platforms in Austria. The company cooperates with investment firms and investment service companies. Stefan Wonisch studied banking and insurance at the University of Applied Sciences (FH Joanneum) in Graz and qualified as a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) and Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA). He is also the Deputy Head of Group Treasury for Hypo Bank Burgenland. Before that, he worked as the Head of Market Risk and Risk Manager of Capital Bank Grawe Gruppe.
