Austria’s insurance brokers and financial advisers make a considerable contribution to the national finances. Their social insurance contributions amount to 101 million Euro per year. They pay an additional 156 million Euro in taxes and levies.

Year for year insurance brokers and financial advisers invest 103 million Euro domestically. They are an indispensable source of funds, particularly for the regional economy.

An analysis of the national accounts shows that 939.9 million Euro flows directly into the economic cycle via independent insurance brokers and financial advisers. 1.6 billion Euro is available as capital to the Austrian economy via bonds, participations and investment instruments.
